This might be a silly question but am I supposed to use only either yellow or beige covered wires for pots and switches and save the black for ground? I just completed a build using only black covered wire because I thought I was on a roll but now I'm scratching my head... Thanks.

Can I use these pickups in mid position Seymour Duncan APS1 Alnico II Pro for Strat Staggered with ssl3 neck position ?

Hello Mr. Seymour, I've got some plan to change the pickups on my 2010 HSS Ibanez GRX40.. And I'm interested to put Hot Rails in neck position because I need a little bit thicker neck lead tone. What do you think the good combo for middle single coil and bridge humbucker, if I play almost any kind of music from heavy rock (maybe almost metal) to funk, blues, pop and even some jazzy fusion? Beautiful playing! I am considering a set of these (I have a mid 90's MIJ tele but the stock pups are too microphonic and shrill in the bridge). These sound beefier but still recognisably like a tele. Anyone else using them?

Bought a Gibson Les Paul Tribute and never even plugged it in, I just swapped the pickups right away for these. The new Gibson’s have a PCB where the pots are and I had no idea how to wire them so emailed SD and they replied within 30 mins with detailed instructions and photos of my exact model. Exceptional company with incredible pickups

I bought the new Holcomb se on a business trip DID NOT LIKE the Scarlett Scourge set at all. Then I saw this and his other videos and I made some tweaks, and OMG I get so many compliments on my tone and I LOVE how great they sound. I like them more than the alpha/omega set. I think this is SDs best set for versatility imo.

Unfortunately, the stacks of amps and racks of heads for touring are over. Not financially feasible. Fuel and trucking costs are thru the roof. Guitar guys are taking two guitars in a Momo double soft case, and a small board as a carry on. Show up, plug in the Modeler and the in-ears. Done. Sucks because I love my heads and cabs, but this is technology now. You can get close enough w the modelers, but nothing can touch tubes. Of course the audience won't know. Only guitarists can hear the diff cause we're all neurotic af about tone...

Been using a PowerStage 100 for about a year now, like it, but...now I need to upgrade to the stereo!

Jeff seems like the nicest guy in all of metal. Just got done revisiting Inflames discography a couple weeks of ago and I wish he would put together his own band. The first 3 or 4 Inflames albums are classics but I just shake my head at what they have chosen to do with the last 20 years of their career. I'm sorry Jeff but your amazing talents are not being utilized in a band like that. Best wishes to You and Inflames.

I am so torn between the Seth Lover and Antiquity. Putting one of them in a PRS SE Custom 24 that I'm going to completely rewire. Definitely want a PAF type of sound without all the extra features like coil splitting.

I dig the chirping pick sound on the pick attacks, you can actually bring this out in EQ with the 8kHz just bump it up +1.1db.

That guitar is sweet.
